Hi, I’m Dominique. I’m currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, and I bring more than ten years of experience working in mental health, health promotion, and behaviour change. I’m also drawn to the deeper questions that often surface during times of transition or hardship—questions about identity, purpose, and what it means to live meaningfully in a fast-paced world.
I work with people from all backgrounds and identities, and I strive to offer a space where everyone feels respected, understood, and welcome. Your unique story, culture, and lived experiences are central to our work together.
My therapeutic approach blends elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Narrative Therapy (NT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and existential perspectives. My goal is to provide a calm, supportive environment where you can explore your emotions, reconnect with what matters most to you, and move toward greater clarity, authenticity, and self-acceptance.
