Hello and thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I am currently a therapist in training at Bloom and completing my practicum for my Master of Counselling Psychology degree at Yorkville University. As a multiracial woman, I have Black, South Asian, and European ancestry and I approach the therapeutic process from a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed lens. In my practice, my role is to collaboratively work with you to develop ways to feel connected to your authentic self and support you in navigating challenges, through curiosity, compassion, and empowerment.
I believe in cultivating a brave space where we can explore environmental, relational, and emotional factors that may be contributing to distress in your life. Healing is a non-linear process and my hope is to engage in a journey with you that deepens your self-awareness while developing effective coping strategies. Your needs are valid and I am passionate about supporting you to recognize this through a non-judgemental and empathetic approach.
