About…

About Me as a Person

Outside of the therapy room, I’m someone who values deep conversations, meaningful relationships, and a good laugh…even if that means slipping in the occasional bad joke. I’m creative at heart and love drawing, crafting, and photography, especially anything that lets me play with colour and details.

I have a bit of a perfectionist streak, and I’m actively learning how to meet that part of myself with more compassion. I’m a lifelong learner and genuinely curious about people, cultures, and the world around me. Learning languages, watching international shows, and exploring different cuisines (especially fusion food) are some of the ways I stay connected and open-minded.

I also enjoy small creative projects like making perfume, glass art, or jewelry. For me, life is about experimenting, creating, and finding comfort and meaning in the small, everyday moments.

About Me as a Therapist

I work with people who are feeling overwhelmed, pulled in different directions, or struggling to feel grounded in themselves. Many of those that I support are navigating anxiety, stress, family or cultural pressures, or a sense of being “in between” and unsure of where they fully belong. I’m especially mindful of how cultural expectations, roles, and relationships can shape how we see ourselves and how safe we feel expressing our needs.

My own experiences growing up between cultures have made me deeply committed to creating a space where you don’t have to edit or divide yourself to feel understood. In therapy, I aim to offer consistency, curiosity, and compassion as we make sense of what you’re carrying and explore what might help things feel more manageable.

I use an integrative approach that draws from emotionally focused therapy (EFT), attachment-based work, psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and internal family systems informed ideas. My style is gentle, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I check in often about what feels helpful and adjust our work together so it fits you. My hope is that therapy feels like a supportive place where you can show up as you are, even if you’re still figuring out who that is.
