I have 27 years of experience working in the field of mental health. My current focus is working with grief and loss, shame, anxiety, and self esteem. My approach is informed by the Existential/Humanistic perspective, compassionate inquiry, and mindfulness approaches.
My aim is to support you in developing understanding, self acceptance and compassion for yourself as you discover why you feel what you feel and do what you do. We will examine your beliefs, thoughts and behaviours using a psychodynamic approach.
The relationship you have with your therapist is paramount. Without this the therapy cannot take place. I encourage you to meet with several therapists and contact me if you would like to explore further. I believe that how we show up for ourselves is how we show up to the world. I would love to support in your journey.
