(She/Her)
Therapy is not a one size fits all endeavour. Finding a good fit and building a strong therapeutic relationship is the key to achieving goals and lasting change. Feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, depressed, anxious or dissatisfied with relationships or career choices can impact our daily life and healthy functioning. Using long-held or unhealthy coping strategies can be isolating and create even greater challenges. Using evidenced-based methods and approaches, I can help you feel and live better while gaining a greater sense of control and confidence in your life.
I take a person-centered, strength-based approach with an emphasis on non-judgement and empathic listening. Using an integrative approach to therapy I incorporate cognitive, solution-focused, emotion-focused and attachment-based interventions to help you gain a full sense of yourself and your potential. In addition to holding a space for you to feel understood, I will be active in helping you make desired and perceptible changes, collaborating on therapy goals and measuring progress towards the things you want to see transformed in your life.
Currently, I am a Master of Arts candidate in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, under the full supervision of Shirley Katz, Ph.D., RP, and Clinic Director of Creative Transitions Psychotherapy.
