My name is Elizabeth (she/her) and I am Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). Do you ever feel like things are just piling up around you and you can’t keep up? Or that you give, and give of yourself until there is nothing left to give? Do you find it difficult to put your own feelings and health at the top of your to-do list? If you do, you are not alone. The world around us moves at an unprecedented speed. Online platforms set unrealistic expectations that make all of these feelings overwhelming. I have always had a passion for helping others and that is what led me to work in the field of disability support for the past 13 years, and now therapy. I am the sibling of a person with autism. I have been on my own journey of health and healing and would love to support you on yours.

The first thing we will do when we start working together is spend time developing our professional relationship. This will help me learn about you, your values, and your priorities. From there we will develop a plan of care based on your goals and desired outcomes for counselling. My approach to psychotherapy is a cooperative one. I believe the client is the expert in their life and the counsellor is there as a collaborative guide to help you navigate and explore on your journey of growth.

I can help with:

  • Feelings of anxiety, depression, overwhelm or stress
  • Life/Family transitions
  • Family challenges related to disability issues for parents, siblings or person with a diagnosis/disability
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder

  • Caregiver burnout
