Hello! My name is Ellis (they/them pronouns) and I facilitate online peer learning groups for adults in Ontario.
These groups are small, structured, and designed to help people build practical skills for navigating stress, emotions, and everyday challenges.
My groups focus on skills that support people experiencing depression, anxiety, OCD, perfectionism, health anxiety, ADHD, emotional overwhelm, and/or relationship difficulties. Sessions combine brief teaching, guided exercises, and reflection to help participants understand patterns and practice strategies that can be applied in daily life.
Current groups include:
- ADHD Skills
- Anxiety & OCD Skills
- DBT Skills (emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness)
- Self-Compassion Practice
Some people attend groups as their primary support, while others participate alongside individual therapy as a way to practice skills between sessions.
My background is in community psychology, where I have worked in research and program development focused on trauma, gender diversity, and community mental health.
I am currently applying for registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) through the non-social work applicant pathway. All services are provided under clinical supervision.
