Hi there, I’m glad you’re here. I’d love to support you by getting to know you and working at your pace. I work with people who are navigating a variety of challenges — whether that’s feeling stuck in unhelpful patterns, managing stress and anxiety, going through big life transitions, or struggling with self-esteem and relationships. I also have a passion for working with emotional eating and body image concerns for which I use a weight-inclusive, anti-diet approach. Regardless of what’s going on for you I bring a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy and tailor my work to each person’s unique needs.
In our first few sessions, we’ll focus on understanding your story — your past experiences and how they’ve shaped where you are now. From there, we’ll create a plan to help you move toward greater ease and well-being. I draw from a variety of approaches tailored to you including psychodynamic therapy (looking at how the past is impacting your current behaviours), and parts work (exploring how different parts of yourself interact, and finding ways to help them work together). My goal is to help you bring more compassion and mindfulness into your daily life.
