Hi, I’m Emma (she/her), a Master’s-level Counselling Intern.
I work with youth and young adults — particularly athletes and performers — navigating performance anxiety, injury, perfectionism, body image concerns, and identity shifts. In high-achievement environments, it’s easy for self-worth to become tied to performance. When transitions or setbacks occur, the impact can feel destabilizing and isolating.
My approach integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic (body-based) practices, and CBT to support regulation, self-compassion, and identity development beyond achievement.
I also support caregivers of neurodivergent children experiencing chronic stress and caregiver burnout.
As a member of CSPA and AASP, I’m committed to fostering emotional well-being within sport and performance spaces.
