My approach is one from the perspective and understanding that you are the expert of your own life. I apply a client-centred, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach to the therapeutic process, supporting you through a personal self-discovery, self-growth, and self-improvement process. I approach each client with curiosity and empathy, learning with you as you discovery yourself.
My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, stress management, self-esteem, life transitions, relationships, career and sport performance challenges. Together, we will develop a plan that aligns with your unique needs, experiences, and preferences by pulling from various therapeutic modalities. Within my practice, I utilize techniques that best suit your needs from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptive and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy, existential therapy, and psychodynamic therapy.
