Hi! My name is Erica, and I’m so happy you’re here!
Throughout my years in practice, I’ve learned that asking for help is often quite challenging for the majority of us. Yet, you’re here! Congratulations – You’ve made the first step to becoming a more refined and well-adjusted version of you.
If you or your child are struggling to cope with life’s challenges, manage an anxiety or depressive disorder or are hoping to look within yourself to better understand how you think or behave, you’ve come to the right place! I have experience working with clients ranging from childhood to adulthood as well as extensive experience providing support and direction to parents in raising their children through an attachment-focused lens.
I am currently completing my Masters of Science in Psychotherapy at McMaster University after working in the public children’s mental health sector for six years (and counting!). I have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy and am currently advancing my skills in Interpersonal Therapy.
My approach to providing psychotherapy tends to be more eclectic, where I utilize bits of different approaches I’m trained in to provide you with a more individualized experience. Most importantly, my approach focuses on the therapeutic relationship as a tool to helping you become the best version of you.
I look forward to meeting you!
