As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), Registered Nurse (RN), and Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) candidate, I am passionate about helping adults navigate life’s emotional and physical challenges with compassion and understanding. My background includes more than seven years of nursing experience in acute trauma, neurosurgery, rehabilitation, and complex care coordination, giving me a unique understanding of the connection between physical health and emotional well-being.
I support adults experiencing health anxiety, chronic illness, medical trauma, burnout, stress, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and caregiver fatigue. I also have a special interest in working with healthcare professionals, including nurses, physicians, PSWs, and other frontline workers, who are experiencing burnout, compassion fatigue, or the emotional impact of caring for others.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and client centered. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported while working toward meaningful change. Whether you are adjusting to a new diagnosis, coping with a difficult life transition, or feeling overwhelmed by the demands of everyday life, we will work together to develop practical strategies that fit your goals and values.
I offer both virtual and in person therapy through Healthy Minds Psychotherapy under the clinical supervision of Katharine De Santos, MA, RP. Sessions are $50.
