Hi, my name is Erin and I’m a student therapist and yoga instructor who is passionate about raising mental health awareness within Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC) communities. I also wholeheartedly welcome individuals of all identities, abilities, and backgrounds to work with me. I offer online individual therapy and work under the supervision of Wendy Kirk and Renee Raymond.
My priority is to develop a supportive therapeutic relationship with you so that you can feel respected and safe in an atmosphere of trust and nonjudgment before we explore your concerns together. Through an anti-oppressive and culturally-informed therapeutic approach, I tailor what I do to support your unique journey towards a greater sense of balance and wellness.
Some of the issues I provide therapy for include, but are not limited to stress, anxiety, self-esteem, perfectionism, depression, insomnia and sleep issues, racial identity and racial discrimination, immigrant and refugee mental health as well as grief and loss. I have training in a variety of modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and mindfulness techniques.
Creating meaningful change can be empowering. My hope is that as we work together you can see and feel the impact of positive and meaningful changes in your mental health. If you have any questions or are interested in working with me, please feel free to reach out and request an initial phone consultation.
