Grounded in authenticity and genuineness, Faiza brings a warm presence and uses a gentle, empathetic lens to understand people’s stories and struggles. With over 15 years of experience, lived experience and knowledge of Trauma and Neuroscience research, Faiza understands the importance of nurturing safety, vulnerability, and connection while building a therapeutic relationship. She understands how difficult it can be to reach out for help, so she tries to make the process as comfortable and safe as possible. Her education includes an HBSc (Psych.), an MA in Counselling Psychology (MACP), and a Doctoral student in Clinical Psychology (PsyD.) – in progress.
As a person, Faiza finds herself instinctively drawn to ‘seeing’ people, gently peeling the layers, and unearthing the Authentic Self. Her life has been filled with moments of warm curiosity and non-judgmental intrigue, foundational blocks of her counselling style, in which strangers have courageously shared their stories of adversity, strength and resilience.
Faiza believes we can be empowered to find our own answers, that our Core Self carries intuitive wisdom and is buried deep underneath the protective parts. Through compassionate inquiry, we will get to know your inner world and gently bring your Self to awareness, allowing you to heal your trauma and live life in an intentional and meaningful way.
