I see therapy as a team sport—you’re the star player, and I’m your supportive coach rooting from the sidelines, helping you explore your inner world and discover what you need for personal growth.
Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, building on a solid foundation from an undergraduate degree in Psychology from York University and a certification in Rehabilitation Services from Seneca College.
I specialize in working with adolescents and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and life transitions. My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. However, I believe in tailoring therapy to the unique needs of each individual. I am working under the supervision of Saima Zaheer, M.Ed Psych, RP, CTIC.
My experience with the Canadian Mental Health Association, where I supported individuals facing severe mental health crises and homelessness, has deepened my understanding of mental health and reinforced my commitment to empathetic, client-centred care.
Having lived around the world, I bring a diverse cultural perspective to my work, ensuring every client feels seen and understood for who they truly are. You know yourself best; I’m just here to encourage you to see that!
