As a counsellor, my goal is to create a safe space for clients to discover themselves and strive towards personal growth. My therapeutic approach follows a holistic, evidence- and client-based framework where I focus on the whole person and the uniqueness of each individual. My experience surrounds applying fundamental counselling theories, skills, and interventions into practice in any given circumstance. I work with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, self-concept, and trauma.
In accordance with a humanistic theoretical framework, my treatment focus emphasizes the whole individual and their potential to develop personal agency and reach self-actualization. As each client is different with unique challenges, I incorporate techniques and styles from frameworks that allow me to connect with and understand clients while also encouraging self-empowerment, safety, and change.
