When feeling stressed, anxious, or depressed, finding meaning could be a key component to help us cope. Through slowing down and allowing – there is room to learn about emotions, relationships, engagement, boundaries, resilience, recovery, and accomplishments. My goal is to help you feel empowered throughout your journey, while integrating your personal goals and strengths into your everyday life. Whether it be regulating emotions, thoughts or behaviors, I am committed to practicing a compassionate and non-judgmental approach where you are the author of your story.
My personal lens in therapy is person centered, somatic, and harm reduction oriented. This approach includes skills and techniques derived from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Existential Psychology, Positive Psychotherapy, Jungian Psychology, Solution-Focused, Trauma Informed, IFS, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy.
Along with 10 years of mental health experience – I spend my time as a Researcher for the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) and the Heroic Hearts Project. As well as volunteering as a therapist and advocate for vulnerable communities in harm reduction sectors. Looking forward to hearing from you and answering any questions.
