About…

Finding a therapist can feel overwhelming, especially if you are used to carrying things on your own or are unsure where to begin. My goal is to provide a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported as you begin to explore what brought you to therapy.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I bring over 17 years of experience in the social work and mental health sectors, supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families with trauma, crisis, relationship challenges, anxiety, life transitions, and emotional distress.

My primary approach is psychoanalytic and psychodynamic psychotherapy. Together, we explore how past experiences, relationships, and emotional patterns may influence the way you think, feel, and relate to yourself and others. I believe that change comes not only from learning ways to cope with challenges, but also from developing a deeper understanding of yourself and the patterns that may no longer be serving you. I also draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and the Integrative Trauma and Attachment Treatment Model (ITATM) when these approaches can support our work together.

I value authenticity and collaboration. Therapy is not about being told what to do or having someone provide all the answers. It is a process of making sense of your experiences, developing insight, and exploring new ways of responding to yourself and others. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, grief, or feeling stuck, we will work together to better understand what is happening beneath the surface and what may help you move forward.

Reaching out for support can be a first step. Finding a therapist who feels like the fit matters, and I invite you to connect if you feel my approach may be a fit for what you are looking for.
