About…

Hi I am Geneviève, I  recognizes that therapy can feel like a big step, but it can be a powerful part of your journey toward healing and personal growth. As a therapist-in-training, my priority is to provide a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you feel supported and understood. My practice is about walking alongside clients as they explore their challenges and discover new strengths within themselves. Together, we can work toward building resilience, fostering self-compassion, and creating meaningful growth that has always been within you. I am currently completing her Master’s in Counseling Psychology at the University of Ottawa, and  I have an Honours Bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in social work. I have experiences supporting clients of all ages and diverse communities.  I value empathy, collaboration, and creating a space where each client’s experiences are honored. I understand that anxiety and feeling overwhelmed around others can be symptoms of an underlying issue. I am particularly interested in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, and relationship difficulties. My goal is that clients leave sessions feeling heard, empowered, and equipped with strategies to manage life’s challenges. My therapeutic style is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and Emotion-Focused, Internal Family systems. Together, I can help explore challenges, identify patterns, and practice strategies that help clients navigate stress and build resilience. I  believes that you don’t have to go through this alone. I am  is here to listen, work and walk alongside you. Geneviève works in both English and French, virtually and in person. She offers a free 15 minute consultation so you can ask questions and get a sense of whether the fit feels right. I  also offer a sliding scale depending on your needs.
