Therapy should be accessible to all who need it, regardless of financial circumstances.
As a therapist, I am committed to providing trauma-informed, culturally-sensitive, and client-centred care. My goal is to help clients develop greater self-compassion and self-awareness and to be a source of support and safety for those who need it.
I have experience working with adults and youth that deal with anxiety, depression, trauma histories, and other complex issues. I am particularly focused on providing support to neurodivergent and disabled individuals and have years of experience working with these populations.
I take an individualized approach with clients and incorporate a variety of techniques from person-centred therapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and psychodynamic theories.
I am currently working towards my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and also hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Child and Family Studies, from the University of Guelph. I am also certified in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and applied suicide intervention (ASIST) and have completed additional training in trauma treatment and crisis management.
