Do you feel caught between who you truly are and who your family, culture, or community expects you to be? Balancing your personal values with external expectations can leave you feeling exhausted. Having navigated my own journey with identity and belonging, I bring an understanding and supportive perspective to clients who feel caught between who they are and who the world expects them to be, especially men, youth, and folks navigating nontraditional or marginalized/LGBTQ+ identities. I work with clients who are navigating challenges related to anxiety, depression, friendships, family dynamics, relationships, and self-identity.
Therapy is about more than just talking about the problem. Using approaches like DBT, IFS, and narrative therapy, I provide a safe and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, gain clarity on patterns in your thoughts and relationships, and build practical skills for managing emotions, setting boundaries, and improving communication.
I strive to make therapy as friendly and casual as possible – not like a doctor’s visit. I am looking forward to helping you on your journey towards healing and becoming the person that you want to be, no longer weighed down by your problems.
