My approach is to work collaboratively with you, as you are the expert on your own life and experiences. My goal is to help you to find ways to feel supported as you find the road that gets you through to a better place. When people experience a crisis or a difficult time in their life, the feelings most often reflected are often difficult to manage. My focus is to help you to talk about what is happening, bringing out your thoughts and feelings rather than keeping them stored up inside. Once we can really look at what you are feeling and thinking, we can also begin to think differently which will give you another perspective to view your situation. Through this process of changing your thinking, your perspective and feelings can change. A new light, a new way of seeing yourself, and a new way of coping.
