About…

Isabella (she/her) is a Master’s of Counselling Psychology candidate from Yorkville University. She has a Diploma in Professional Addiction Studies through McMaster University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton. Isabella has had experiences in frontline work with vulnerable populations, including those facing housing insecurity and homelessness, substance use issues, and acquired brain injuries. From these experiences, she has gained rich insight into the human experience, understanding the importance of an individualized approach toward change.

Isabella provides a personalized, supportive, nonjudgmental, and safe space to explore emotions, goals, and needs. Her approach is collaborative, building the therapeutic relationship using a variety of therapy approaches, including mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and emotion-focused therapy (EFT), from a client-centered lens.

Outside of therapy work, Isabella enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family, running, soccer, and reading.

Isabella is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Isabella has completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
