About…

There is beauty in the journey of life and our willingness to face adversity. I believe we are all doing our best and sometimes guidance and support are needed to remember our innate worth and compass. If you feel disconnected and unsupported in navigating the emotional effects of life’s stressors, difficult relationships, traumatic experiences, or taking important life decisions, our work together can give you tools to reconnect to your intrinsic wisdom to heal and grow.

As a Gestalt therapist, I create a warm, non-judgmental and relational space where we can observe and tend to your wounded parts from a place of care, self-compassion, playful curiosity and creative exploration. We may be using many forms of expression other than just words – art, spirituality & symbolism, somatic integration, role play – while accommodating to your unique style and needs.

In our therapeutic work, I will invite you to connect to your embodied experience because your past and future are constantly held as integral aspects of your lived experience in the present moment. We also may explore befriending your nervous system and building capacity for discomfort and uncertainty, so you can dive deeper into your self discovery journey.

I welcome people from all walks of life, identities, faiths, lifestyles and backgrounds – including fellow members of the neurodivergent community. I also offer therapy in French to the Francophone community.

If my approach resonates with you, I invite you to a free 15-35mins consultation call so you can feel how we connect and to answer your questions.

Contact me at – imeline@gestaltmail.ca

The first consultation (15-35mins) is always free.

A little bit about me:

I am a white, cisgender woman (she/her/hers) who immigrated voluntarily to Canada 13 years ago, has done years of self work for my own health and to appreciate my own neurodiversity. I have made the transition from a high-paced corporate life to become a Psychotherapist, and I bring my experiences and understanding of the various challenges of life and career transitions to inform my work.

I am a graduate from the Gestalt Institute of Toronto and registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
