As an immigrant herself, Ivy brings a deep cultural awareness to her practice. Over the past decade, Ivy has gained extensive experience as a helping professional, including as a teacher, social worker, crisis line responder, and student services manager. Ivy has supported teens, adults and older adults from diverse backgrounds, including (but not limited to) international students, immigrants, and individuals from equity-deserving communities, to find their goals, hope, purpose, and meaning in life. Through these experiences, Ivy has developed a deep understanding of each client’s unique challenges and struggles and established solid connections with her clients.
Ivy utilizes tailored tools and strategies to address issues such as anxiety, depression, burnout, low self-esteem, racial identity, addiction, loss and grief, codependency, separation and divorce, women’s issues, self-relationship, and interpersonal conflicts. Her approach is deeply rooted in empathy and collaboration, creating a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their emotions and hopes.
