Hi, my name is Izabela!
I know firsthand how heavy life can feel when you’re trying to manage everything on your own. You deserve a space where your experiences are taken seriously and where you don’t have to hold everything by yourself.
In our work together, I aim to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. While we cannot always control what happens in life, we can explore how you relate to those experiences and what feels possible moving forward. I will be right with you as you build resilience, reconnect with your strengths, and move toward a place that feels more grounded and manageable.
I completed my bachelor’s degree at McMaster University and am currently pursuing my Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) at Yorkville University. I have always been drawn to understanding people, finding meaning in their stories, and helping them reconnect with what feels hopeful. Outside of my work, I love skiing, music, hiking, taekwondo-do, art, and going to the gym.
My approach is primarily client‐centered, drawing from Narrative Therapy, Solution‐Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I aim to find the balance that fits your needs, at your pace. I know vulnerability can feel intimidating, and I’ll always give you the time and space you need to open up comfortably.
My modalities include: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Culturally-Responsive Care, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Narrative Therapy
