Specialty areas: Anxiety, depression, low self-worth, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, addictions, disordered eating, burnout, and caregiver burden.
Client focus: I work with teens and adults, including those navigating high-pressure jobs, caregiver responsibilities, or the challenges of balancing family, work, and self-care. I support individuals who want to feel more confident, reduce self-criticism, and break patterns that keep them feeling stuck. My approach is trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, LGBTQIA2S+ affirming, and culturally sensitive. I aim to create a space where you can be fully yourself, with honesty, compassion, and humour always welcome.
Therapy approach: I take a warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth approach. I don’t believe in fixing you or telling you what to do. Together we explore what is getting in the way of your wellbeing, uncover your strengths, and develop practical tools you can use between sessions. I draw from Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Therapy, Adlerian Theory, and Strengths-Based approaches, tailoring everything to what feels right for you. Sessions often include reflective exercises, grounding strategies, and interactive tools to support growth and self-compassion.
About me: I am a therapist intern at Your Story Counselling and I am completing my Master of Psychotherapy at Adler Graduate Professional School. Having navigated my own challenges and used therapy personally, I understand the importance of feeling heard and having a safe, supportive space. Outside of work you can find me walking my dog, playing the guitar, snowboarding, learning new board games, and finding small ways to enjoy everyday moments.
If this feels like a good fit, I invite you to a free 15–20 minute consultation to explore working together.
