About…

Many people come to therapy feeling stuck—not because they lack insight, but because they have spent years talking about their problems without creating meaningful change. My approach is different.

As a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist, I focus on helping people move beyond simply understanding why they feel the way they do and toward building a life that feels more manageable, meaningful, and aligned with who they want to be. While insight can be valuable, lasting change often comes from learning practical strategies, developing new perspectives, and taking intentional action.

I work collaboratively with clients to identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck, challenge beliefs that no longer serve them, and develop concrete skills they can use in their everyday lives. Rather than positioning myself as the expert on your life, I view therapy as a partnership where we combine your lived experience with evidence-based therapeutic approaches to create meaningful progress.

My practice is particularly well-suited for individuals who are tired of surface-level conversations and are looking for a deeper understanding of themselves, their relationships, and the systems that impact their wellbeing. Together, we explore not only personal struggles such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, and substance use concerns, but also the broader social, cultural, and environmental factors that influence mental health.

Clients often describe my approach as direct, compassionate, practical, and empowering. Sessions are designed to provide both emotional support and tangible tools that can be applied outside the therapy room. My goal is not to create dependence on therapy, but to help you develop the insight, confidence, and skills needed to navigate life’s challenges long after our work together has ended.

Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in old patterns, or simply ready for something to change, therapy can provide a space to gain clarity, build resilience, and create lasting transformation.
