Making space for your inner world with care, curiosity, and compassion
Does it feel like you’re carrying a lot inside, pain, confusion, and overwhelm, while trying your best to function like everything is fine? Many people I work with seem okay on the outside but feel emotionally burdened, stuck, isolated, or exhausted underneath. If you’ve been trying to make sense of your experience on your own and it still feels heavy, confusing, or isolating, you don’t have to keep doing it alone.
I support clients who want to better understand themselves, their emotional patterns, and their life experiences, not just intellectually, but in a way that leads to real internal shift. Our work goes beyond insight alone. Together, we slow things down, listen to what your nervous system and emotions are communicating, and create space for meaningful, sustainable change.
My approach:
My work integrates Somatic Therapy, Coherence Therapy, Internal Family Systems/parts-informed work and attachment theory. My approach is trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, relational, and rooted in nervous system regulation. Having spent over a decade in the corporate world, I offer therapy that balances clinical care with real-world understanding, so you feel met, supported, and able to apply our work beyond the therapy room.
Qualifications
I am a Pre-Licensed Professional and an Expressive Arts therapy student under clinical supervision. I hold a B.A. in Psychology. I am completing a 3-year Somatic Experiencing Practitioner Training. I am also certified in Perinatal Mental Health and hold a Level 1 certification in Coherence Therapy.
About Me
I have spent many years in therapy as a client, working through my own personal experiences and learnings. Ongoing therapy remains part of my self-care and personal growth, and it continues to shape how I show up in the room with my clients: with humility, respect, and deep care for each client’s process and experiences.
As an older daughter raised in a South Asian household, I understand firsthand how complex it can be to navigate cultural identity, family expectations, autonomy, and authenticity while also tending to your mental health. Many clients I work with are balancing layered family roles and responsibilities, some of which may include pressures connected to relationships, parenting, and challenging in-law relationships, while trying to stay connected to their own needs and voice.
These dynamics can bring love and connection, but also stress, guilt, conflict, and emotional strain that are not always easy to speak about openly. You don’t have to carry that alone.
I aim to offer a compassionate, culturally aware space where these parts of your story can be explored with care and nuance. Together, we can work through concerns related to anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship stress, and complex family or in-law dynamics, at a pace that feels safe and supportive.
Healing from trauma is a deeply personal journey of reclaiming your sense of safety and self, and you don’t have to navigate it alone.
