School, work, and managing our day to day can be stressful, and when we add the challenges and changes brought on by the pandemic, it can be a lot. Before we know it, we begin to question ourselves…
“Can I do this? Am I capable of being successful? Can I be happy? “
Helping you unpack your experience and supporting you by making intentional and informed decisions is my number one goal.
My name is Jennifer, an Intern who will be working under the supervision of Janine Ruddy. Over the next year, I hope to journey along with you and uncover the challenges, stressors, and concerns you have so you can begin a journey that is uniquely yours.
Over the last 15 years, I have worked with youth and young adults facing school stress, work anxiety, and life challenges just like you.
I am currently completing my final year of my Master’s Degree in Clinical Counselling from Tyndale University. I also have a Child & Youth Work Diploma from Humber College and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from York University.
- My approach is that you are at the centre of therapy
- I believe in a holistic, integrative approach using various models to help you in your goals
- Whether we address your thoughts, feelings, behaviours, or relationships, at the heart of it all, I am here to listen, be nonjudgmental, and accept your experience.
I want to welcome you to my virtual office and meet you wherever you are in your journey. Let’s explore how we can work together.
