About…

Do you find yourself feeling stuck, ashamed or overwhelmed?  Are you repeating patterns you want to shake?  In my practice I offer a warm, non-judgemental space where we can explore what’s going on for you.  I work with individuals grappling with anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues (romantic, friendships, family), stress, depression, trauma and more.  I support clients in finding greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and self-acceptance. Together we can work to deepen your connection to yourself and to others. We can contend with your great existential questions, and explore what has been and what is possible.

My approach is warm, collaborative and grounded in deep respect for your uniqueness and your innate capacity for healing.  As a queer woman who grew up in a rural environment, I understand the unique challenges, complexities, and beauty that can arise from navigating life as part of the 2SLGBTQ+ community.  I am committed to creating a safe, inclusive and affirming space for people from diverse backgrounds, sexualities and gender identities. Having experienced the transformative power of being truly seen, heard, and understood in my own therapy, I bring this same presence and empathy to my work with clients.

Together we can explore and process your emotions, thoughts and mental stories as well as your bodily sensations through somatic experiencing.  With curiosity, we can trace the threads of the present moment back to your past and unravel the complex knots that may be holding you back.  What you’re experiencing now is often deeply connected to your body’s awareness. My goal is to empower you to see yourself and your circumstances in new ways and to help you live more fully as your embodied self.  I look forward to getting to know you. I invite you to contact me today and schedule a free 30-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit.
