You’ve spent years being the capable one — holding it together at work, showing up for the people around you, managing more than most people realize. But there’s often something running quietly underneath that success: a persistent tension you can’t quite name, relationships that feel harder than they should, or a sense that you’ve never quite felt at ease in your own skin.
That’s often where trauma lives — not in crisis, but in patterns.
I’m Jim Squire, a Registered Psychotherapist and Certified Clinical Trauma Therapist with over twenty years of clinical experience supporting adults working through the long-term effects of childhood trauma, relational wounds, and stress that’s been carried too long without the right support.
My approach draws on Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapy, and attachment-based work — modalities that go beyond surface-level coping to address what’s actually driving the patterns you’re ready to change. Together, we work at a pace that feels safe, with methods that respect both your history and your intelligence.
I work virtually with adults, and I’m registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
