Hello & welcome. Clients have described me as down to earth, gentle, insightful, creative, and able to provide support being with and bringing new awareness to what’s painful or difficult about their experience. I am a Relational Gestalt Therapist in Training (now in my 5th year), working with clients with the support of clinical supervision. Foundational to my approach as a therapist is the 15 years of experience I have supporting people to develop a healing connection with their body and breath, soothe their nervous system and tap into their felt sense of vitality and aliveness through yoga, meditation and bodywork.
So, dear reader, what’s nudging or compelling you to reach for support at this moment in your life? Perhaps you’re feeling the burden of unfinished business, the searing pain of wounds related to relationship rupture or separation, the dull ache of loss and grief, or you’re struck by the difficulty you feel being in a particular life stage or transition.
In therapy together, I will meet you wherever you find yourself right now so that you can be truly seen, heard and felt in the totality of your experience. Using the support of a dialogue, Gestalt role play, art, somatic sensing or embodied gesture and movement, you will have a safe, non judgemental space to give voice and shape to your experience. These ways of working will help to shine a light on core beliefs and ways of being in relationships that can feel fixed, narrow, and unsupportive to how you want to be in the world.
Ultimately, I am here to support you to widen your awareness, get in touch with and build upon your inner resources so that you can be yourself more fully in relationships and have the capacity to be with and move through life’s challenges, growing in a direction that aligns with your values and with what’s meaningful for you.
