Dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, or trauma can be very difficult on your own. I invite you to join me as we use writing and genealogy, as well as art-making and talk therapy, to help learn more about what you’re experiencing and why.
My approach can be summarized by the 4 “E”s: express, explore, explain, exhale. Through writing and art, we are often able to express ourselves in ways that can feel more flexible. We can explore art and different materials while exploring our emotions, discover patterns and explanations for our feelings and actions, and learn to let go and exhale with newly discovered coping skills.
Whether we create a specific treatment plan (perhaps including my Creative Genealogy modality) or let the art take us where it will, I will help guide you through this journey and honour your sensibilities.
