Joelle approaches therapy with curiosity and humility, believing that good work starts with truly listening to where a person is and what they need, not assuming it in advance.
She is drawn to an integrative style, pulling from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and humanistic, client-centred principles, with a particular interest in helping clients build psychological flexibility, learning to make room for difficult thoughts and feelings while still moving toward what matters to them. She’s especially drawn to working with individuals navigating anxiety, stress, and life transitions.
Joelle brings fresh energy, an eagerness to learn, and a genuine care for the people she works with. She is committed to creating a space that feels safe, non-judgmental, and collaborative, one where clients feel heard rather than diagnosed, and supported in living a life aligned with their values.
