Are you struggling with making space for your emotions, or thoughts, dealing with uncertainties in life, school, work or relationships? Do you want to make a change in your life but are scared to do so? In working together, we can explore these concerns with open curiosity, compassion and care. I am here to listen to your stories in a safe space, with a non-judgemental, compassionate and curious mind.
Our time in therapy will allow for the seeds of change to form but it’s what you do outside of the therapy session that brings about that change and blossoming into a new you. I will be there with you helping you uncover your tools to be able to nourish these seeds to grow. And as you may be able to tell I like to use metaphors to illustrate the message and meaning but hope to use your language help you see and feel the possibility of change.
My approach to therapy is integrative drawing upon various therapeutic modalities such as: Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy.
I completed my Master’s degree in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy from the University of Toronto, Emmanuel College. I am Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario (CRPO). I continue to engage in professional development and am under supervision by a Registered Psychotherapist.
