We were not meant to be perfect; but we were meant to be whole. My life’s passion is to support individuals and their families through significant life challenges to develop a sense of completeness and fulfilment. To do that, I create a safe space of empathy, trust and understanding for healing, growth and resilience to evolve. My mission is to help persons overcome difficulties, build self-esteem and resilience, increase confidence; and most importantly, discover that peace and love within themselves. I work from a variety of therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Faith-Based Counselling; using a trauma-informed and anti-oppressive approach. I specialize in helping persons experiencing trauma; anxiety; stress management; depression; relationship issues; grief and bereavement; relocation, settlement, immigration and newcomer issues; isolation concerns; anger management; racial trauma; assertiveness and boundary settings skills; and self-esteem, self-worth and confidence concerns.
