Therapy can often provide the kind of safe, gentle and unconditional connectedness that allows us to be our most authentic selves. It is my hope that in working with you, I am able provide you with the kind of therapeutic relationship that allows for you to safely express who you are without shame or fear.
I often work with survivors of trauma (both upper and lower case “T”) and abuse, bereaved individuals, people who suffer from depression, and people generally seeking greater levels of understanding and compassion for themselves. My therapeutic approach is highly individualized, and is primarily centred around the therapeutic relationship between you and I. As such, my therapy is not necessarily focused on “curing” or “fixing” you. It is an exploration of your inner world, and an opportunity to be in a space where all your parts are welcome – not just the ones others attribute value to.
I would be nothing less than honoured to have the opportunity to see if you and I are a good therapeutic fit, and would be happy to hear from you. I always aim to respond within 48 hours of receiving any e-mails, and offer a phone consultation free of charge.
