In today’s current world, it can seem like there is an endless amount of curveballs being thrown at us – sometimes these curveballs keep us up at night, keep us in negative thinking feedback loops, or cause us to isolate from our friends and family. Sometimes, dealing with negative emotions, life situations, and beliefs about yourself can be exhausting and overwhelming, but I will help you take it one step at a time. I take a client centred, non-judgemental, and compassionate approach to psychotherapy. When engaging in individual sessions with me, I will hold a space for you that is safe, empathetic, and validating. My aim is to collaborate with you to help process your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours in order to get you to be your most authentic and happiest self. I want to support you through your goals and support your growth as an individual who is confident and grounded. In addition to my education, I have a significant amount of experience working with adults managing substance use, shame, anxiety, self-worth, depression, emotional regulation, and attachment difficulties, and stress. I use a CBT approach integrated with other counselling modalities such as DBT, CFT, and EFIT. It can be so hard to open ourselves up to a stranger, even if they are a therapist, so for that reason I offer a free 15 minute consultation.
