Kafui is a registered social worker with a Master of Social Work degree obtained from the University of Windsor. Kafui is passionate about helping individuals work through every-day challenges as they strive to make meaningful lifestyle changes.
Using an eclectic approach to therapeutic practice, Kafui draws on tenets of schema therapy, narrative therapy, motivational interviewing and attachment theory to provide a supportive space where clients’ lived experiences are valued and understood. She also enjoys working with clients from diverse backgrounds using a strengths-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered approach.
With extensive experience in clinical, correctional, and community-based social work, Kafui enjoys collaborating with individuals and couples as they work through relationship challenges (infidelity, intimacy, conflict management) addictions, adjustment disorders (anxiety, depression, trauma) and navigating one’s cultural identity. Kafui specializes in couples therapy, addictions and race-based concerns (e.g., injustice, discrimination, harassment).
