I like to explore, encourage, and challenge; my role is to be a guide for people that feel stuck, lost, or not like themselves. I believe that underneath each problem or concern, there are usually common themes of fear, shame, failure, loss, and uncertainty—what I call the dark, hidden parts of ourselves—and that it can be less intimidating to explore these parts with a psychotherapist. I am equally passionate about mindfulness and self-compassion as I am about science and practicality, so what I provide to each client is different and based on your unique needs. The ultimate goal is to help you develop the self-awareness and confidence to handle any difficult situation in the future. We focus on your values, beliefs, and fundamental needs.
