Many of us come to periods in our lives when we feel overwhelmed, confused or immobilized by our circumstances and our feelings. Or we reach a point in life when we know in our gut that something has to change, but we just don’t know where to begin. Doubt and negative self-talk can make us feel stuck. Sometimes we struggle with feelings of sadness, anger, shame or anxiety and can feel very alone in that struggle. Having a safe place to talk and a safe, non-judgmental person to talk to is key to healing and moving beyond the “stuck place”.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist , a trained life coach and an experienced pastoral minister. I see my role as helping people to explore and unlock their core values and unique truth so that healing, growth and renewal are possible. I believe that the answers we are searching for lie within us and that transition comes from within.
These answers however, are sometimes “buried” as a result of life circumstances. Experiences of trauma, abuse, shame and grief can derail us and make it difficult to get back on track without help. I offer a holistic, relational approach to counselling, recognizing the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual aspects that intertwine to make us who we are.
