About…

Hi, I’m Katie (they/them). I support people who feel stuck, self-critical, creatively blocked, or disconnected from themselves. You might be an artist who feels frozen, someone who longs to be more creative but does not know where to begin, or someone who never really saw yourself as creative but feels curious about what might be waiting inside you to come out.

I know showing up to therapy can feel a bit like arriving at a party you were not totally sure you wanted to attend. Maybe one part of you is hopeful, another is nervous, and another would rather pretend none of this is happening. All of that is welcome.

I offer a warm, creative, and compassionate space where you can bring your full humanity, not just the polished version. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in curiosity, with a special interest in parts-based work (Internal Family Systems). Together, we can get to know the parts of you that feel anxious, overwhelmed, blocked, protective, ashamed, or afraid to be seen.

Creative blocks are not always just about creativity. Sometimes they are connected to perfectionism, grief, burnout, low self-worth, anxiety, relationship struggles, life transitions, or past experiences that made it feel safer to hide. Therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what you are carrying, and begin to relate to yourself with more compassion.

It can be hard to ask for help, especially when you have been carrying so much on your own. You do not need to be perfectly ready, know exactly what you want, or have the right words. If you are longing for a space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported as you reconnect with yourself and your inner aliveness, I would be honoured to walk alongside you. I offer a free consultation to see if we are a good fit.
