Hi! I’m Kelly, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), and I’m probably not your typical therapist. I’m a little quirky, I bring my personality into the therapy room, and I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine conversation rather than a clinical appointment.
I know that reaching out for therapy can feel intimidating. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable enough to be yourself, where you don’t feel judged, rushed, or like you’re talking to a stranger behind a clipboard. Through genuine curiosity, thoughtful questions, and the occasional well-timed joke, I strive to build a therapeutic relationship where you feel seen, heard, and supported.
I work with adults experiencing a variety of challenges, including:
-Self-esteem and self-worth
-Life transitions and uncertainty
-Grief and loss, including the death of a loved one, relationship loss, or other significant life changes
-Anxiety and stress
-Relationship concerns
-Personal growth and self-discovery
My approach is person-centred, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. Rather than believing there’s a single “right” way to do therapy, I integrate a variety of evidence-informed approaches to meet your individual needs. Whether you’re looking for practical coping strategies, a space to process difficult emotions, or support in making meaningful life changes, we’ll work together to find what works best for you.
I believe that you are the expert on your own life. My role isn’t to tell you who you should be, it’s to understand your story, help you recognize your strengths, and support you in creating the life you want to live.
If you’re looking for a therapist who values authenticity, connection, and a person-first approach, I’d love to connect with you.
