Hello! My name is Kelly (she/her), and I live on Treaty 6 land. I am a counselling intern completing my practicum through Yorkville University’s Master of Counselling Psychology program.
I approach counselling from a collaborative and client-centered perspective, and employ various modalities, including Emotion Focused Therapy, to aid you in your counselling journey. I am committed to providing all clients with a judgement free, supportive, and compassionate space to explore and navigate thoughts, feelings, and challenges. Together we can work towards change and healing and uncover your personal strengths and inner resilience, which will help you in times of uncertainty.
I welcome clients with various types of concerns including:
- Parenting Difficulties
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Life Transitions
- Post-Secondary Stress
- Family and Relationship Issues
- Stress and Burnout
- Midlife Transitions
- Communication Difficulties
- 2SLGBTQIA+ issues
I spend the majority of my free time with my spouse, kids, and dogs. I also like to read, cook, and puzzle. As a parent of two, and having recently returned to university, I am passionate about working with individuals experiencing parenting difficulties as well as those navigating life transitions. I look forward to meeting you.
*I am currently waitlisting clients for sessions beginning MAY 2025.*
