Hello! My name is Kelly (she/her), and I live on Treaty 6 land. I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist (AB P8930) with an MA in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
I believe in everyone’s ability to grow and heal and am honoured to be a part of that journey. I am committed to providing all clients with a judgment-free, supportive, and compassionate space to explore thoughts, feelings, and challenges. I approach counselling from a collaborative, client-centred perspective while incorporating various modalities, including Emotion Focused Therapy and Acceptance Commitment Therapy. Together, we can work towards change and healing and uncover your personal strengths to help you in times of uncertainty.
I welcome clients with various types of concerns, including:Men’s mental health
Individuals impacted by a loved one’s substance use
Relationship issues
Midlife transitions
Stress and burnout
Anxiety and depression
Communication difficulties
2SLGBTQIA+ issues
A little about me personally – I’m a mom to two teens who definitely keep me on my toes and two dogs who are always under my feet! In my free time, I enjoy getting lost in a good book or spending time in the kitchen. I also find great joy in music and dance. I’m a big fan of quiet mornings with a good cup of coffee, and I love to unwind by rewatching shows like Brooklyn 99 or Schitt’s Creek because a good laugh and the feel of familiar characters are always a nice way to end the day.
