With life being a series of ups and downs, I am committed and passionate about joining clients in their journey of self-discovery and navigating the challenges that life can present. Finding ways to manage stress and anxiety that often come with different phases and stages of life are important parts of my work. With everyone coming with their own unique story, I am dedicated to working alongside individuals to build a strong therapeutic relationship and find what will work for each person individually.
I am currently completing my practicum course as part of the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program through Yorkville University. I have been a Child and Youth Counsellor for the past ten years supporting children and adolescents with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges and is committed to supporting all individuals in finding ways to navigate life’s challenges. I have worked with adolescents who have struggled with anxiety, depression, those that have been recently diagnosed, and those struggling with school related stress.
I will create a warm, safe, welcoming atmosphere where individuals can share their stories, recognize their strengths, and can be supported in creating full and authentic lives.
