I work with individuals that want support processing experiences and emotions, challenging life transitions, and exploring their relationships with others. As a person that has been to therapy myself, I understand how important it is to find a safe place to receive support and be listened to. In working together, I hope to create a healing space where you feel welcome. My therapeutic approach is based in Gestalt Psychotherapy. Gestalt helps create understanding and compassion for how we have lived our lives, and offers us new perspectives so we can regain our spontaneity that may have been lost along the way. In therapy you are invited to process your emotions and experiences. You may be asked questions such as ‘what are you aware of in this moment? or ‘what is coming up for you?’. In reflecting upon what we are aware of, we can have the opportunity to explore parts of ourselves and how we connect to others. Throughout my professional experience, I have worked with people adjusting to challenging life circumstances, navigating changes in family relationships, and struggling with personal identity. If you too are looking for support, I welcome you to connect with me!
