I specialize in supporting parents and parentified individuals, spouses, and caregivers with self-care, boundaries, communication, and interpersonal effectiveness. As a BIPOC therapist, I am sensitive to and supportive of all individuals with minority experiences.
As a psychodynamic psychotherapist, I use an integrative approach to uncover and relieve symptoms. Tools I use include Motivational Interviewing for change; Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for attachment issues with individuals and couples; Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness; and OEI, tapping and somatic experiencing to support trauma and parts work.
