Therapy for Self-Understanding, Life Transitions & Meaningful Change
You may be someone who is used to holding everything together, even when things feel overwhelming underneath. From the outside, it may look like you’re managing, while internally your mind feels busy, uncertain, or exhausted. You might find yourself overthinking, struggling to focus, questioning yourself, or feeling stuck in patterns you don’t quite understand.
Therapy can offer a space to slow down, breathe, and make sense of what you’re carrying.
I work with individuals navigating anxiety, stress, grief, relationships, identity, life transitions, chronic health challenges, physical disabilities, and the many questions that can come with wanting to better understand yourself. I have a particular interest in working with neurodivergent individuals and people with disabilities, offering affirming support that honours the different ways each person thinks, feels, learns, moves, communicates, and experiences the world.
My Approach: Warm, Compassionate & Grounding
I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can come as you are. You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly what you need before you begin.
My approach is warm, compassionate, and grounded in curiosity rather than judgment. Together, we can gently explore anxiety, stress, overthinking, difficult emotions, relationships, identity, and life transitions at a pace that feels manageable for you.
Rather than focusing only on what feels difficult, I want to help you understand yourself more deeply, recognize the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and reconnect with your own strengths and resilience. My hope is that through therapy, you can develop greater self-compassion, confidence, and a clearer sense of what feels meaningful to you.
What You Can Expect in Therapy
My approach is integrative, drawing from psychodynamic, humanistic, and cognitive behavioural therapies, alongside mindfulness-based practices.
This means we may explore how your past experiences, relationships, and environment have shaped the way you see yourself and respond to the world, while also developing practical ways to work with thoughts, emotions, stress, and everyday challenges.
Therapy with me is collaborative. We will work together to understand what is happening, notice patterns with curiosity, and explore what might help you move forward. Sometimes that may mean sitting with difficult emotions and making space for them; other times, it may mean developing new perspectives, coping strategies, or ways of approaching a situation.
There is no need to rush the process. We can take things one step at a time, at a pace that feels right for you.
Affirming & Accessible Support
My background in education and child care has shaped the way I understand and support people with diverse needs. I have a particular interest in supporting children, students, and adults with physical disabilities, neurodivergence, and different ways of learning, communicating, processing, and experiencing the world.
I believe that your experiences, body, relationships, environment, and history all matter. Therapy is not about asking you to fit into a particular way of being. Instead, it is about creating space to understand yourself and your experiences with compassion, while finding approaches that work for you.
A Space to Be Seen, Heard & Supported
As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and MA in Counselling Psychology student working under clinical supervision, I strive to create a safe, genuine, and compassionate space where you can be open, vulnerable, and fully yourself.
I see therapy as a collaborative relationship built on trust, patience, and kindness. My role is to listen, support, offer guidance when helpful, and walk alongside you as you explore what you need and where you would like to go.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, navigating a difficult transition, processing grief, experiencing relationship challenges, or simply wanting to understand yourself better, you don’t have to navigate it all alone.
Affordable Therapy & Next Steps
I offer affordable therapy for individuals looking for thoughtful, compassionate support in a space where they can feel genuinely seen and heard. Sessions are available virtually and in person.
