About…

Hi I’m Kristan (they/them/theirs) and I’m a non-binary, queer Registered Social Worker/Therapist providing virtual counselling support within Ontario. I work from a place of curiosity as we explore your experiences and emotions and work towards your goal(s). I utilize ideas and strategies from a number of theoretical orientations including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), solution-focused counselling, dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices. The most common feedback I’ve received in that time is that clients felt they were able to build trust and connection with me even though they had struggled to connect with counsellors in the past.
